Hi guys, happy Friday!!!
Ever since I got myself a Vitamix (aka the best thing I’ve ever purchased in my life, no lie), I have been on a MAJOR smoothie, juice, purée kick. I think I use my blender once a day, if not more. It makes the most creamy and delicious meals, and cleaning it is so easy, even I can do it 😉 Ok, so enough about the blender. I make smoothies for breakfast most mornings. They’re usually just combinations of whatever I have in my fridge, or what I’m in the mood for. I’ve been seeing gorgeous pictures of citrus all over recently, so I had to pick up some blood oranges to try myself. See the recipe for this delish drink below:
Blood Orange & Banana Smoothie
1 1/2 frozen bananas
1 blood orange
1/2 inch fresh ginger (or 1/2 tsp dried ginger)
1 tsp bee pollen (for vitamins & minerals)
1 tsp pomegranate powder (for antioxidants)
2 tbsp kefir (probiotic)
1/4 cup water
Blend all ingredients in blender until well combined. Enjoy!

Happy Thursday! We almost made it!!! 🙂
I’m bringing you another 2017 nail trend today!
I am LOVING all manicures that somehow relate back to nature (read: stars, galaxy, cacti, etc.) and I had to try out this agate trend. Crystals are having a major moment, and nail art is no exception here.
This art was actually pretty simple to execute, and it really comes together once you layer the polish and seal it all in with a top coat, and add some glitter, of course.
Check out my tutorial below for the how to:
The colors I used are:
Pinky, Pointer, Thumb: OPI – Sapphire in the Snow
Middle & Ring Base – Essie Gel Couture – Turn ‘N Pose
Agate (starting from the middle & moving out):
Essie – Blanc
Essie – St Lucia Lilac
Essie – Shade On
Glitter – Amazon
Top Coat – Seche Vete
Thanks so much for reading! Stay tuned for more tutorials ❤️
Happy Monday, guys!
Yesterday, I did some research on the top nail art trends for 2017, and I’ve got to say, I’m loving what I see.
There’s colorblocking, graphic french manicures, and cuticle embellishments. Mostly, there’s minimalistic artwork, which is right up my alley!
Last week, I tried out an ombré French look (check it out here), and this week I’m trying out some colorblocking! I also just got a tripod to start taking videos of my manicures. I’m sharing a little tutorial of this look below. I love watching videos like these personally, I think they’re mesmerizing 🙂
Let me know what you think about this look & if you’re interested in seeing any other trends via video as well!
Thanks for stopping by 🙂
